A Draftswoman who understands Designers
If you're a designer, I understand the excitement that comes with creating a mood board—choosing colors, feeling fabrics, and exploring wallpaper options. However, you might not have the time or the inclination to delve into measurements or spend hours tweaking floor plans and renderings on your computer. I'd be delighted to assist you, and your client doesn't even have to be aware of it! You remain the designer, and I step in as a supportive draftswoman who respects your client relationship. I can generate 2D and 3D renderings in a variety of software options to present to your client.
This designer was working with a client dealing with complex wall angles. The goal was to ensure that all proposed furniture would fit seamlessly before making final selections. I translated the designer's pencil and paper sketches into a floor plan, placing the scaled furniture they had chosen. After reviewing the scaled layout, a few furniture pieces needed re-evaluation due to space constraints. I promptly made adjustments as soon as decisions were made. As a bonus, the homeowner could visualize the space in both 2D and 3D with the new furniture recommendations. For the scope of this project, high-definition 3D renderings weren't necessary.
