I am a wife, a soccer mom of 3, a Sunday school teacher, a homeroom mom extraordinaire, a retired corporate climber, an Airbnb SuperHost, and a budding interior designer and draftswoman. But above all, I am a dreamer. Planning is my passion—creating beautiful, functional spaces. I developed my love for drafting and design in high school, and I later pursued a marketing degree and a master's in business from the University of Arkansas. Draft Haus Designs was born when my passion for architecture, construction, interior design, organizing, and home furnishings extended to helping friends and family with their spaces. Since then, I've assisted homeowners, small business owners, and commercial cross-functional teams in realizing the full potential of their spaces. The Process
Initial consultation
We begin by scheduling an initial, quick, complimentary phone consultation to discuss your project requirements, goals, and timelines. I listen to understand your unique needs and style preferences, answering any questions you may have. Following that, I will create an itemized fee proposal outlining the scope of what you can expect from Draft Haus Designs.
Bringing your ideas to life
After you provide me with all the specific details and media files regarding your project, I will develop a comprehensive understanding and initiate the creation of the first draft. Once you review the 2D/3D draft and the mood board, should you choose to utilize my decorating services, we will collaborate on revising the plan to achieve the desired end result.
Development
I will provide you with the final plans for sharing with your contractor or architect. If you choose to have me assist in project management to ensure proper execution, I will accompany you every step of the way, ensuring attention to detail and maintaining quality workmanship throughout the construction process.
